Mews Court, Cheltenham

We were instructed to come up with plans for a brownfield site in Cheltenham.

From the outset the brief had a strong sustainability agenda with each building benefiting from a localised wind turbine. The ‘Mews Court’ evolved around the idea of a central, shared communal space.

The 8 units are arranged and orientated to define and enclose the space.

The intial feasibility and subsequent site modelling illustrates the shared space and gives an indication of how the facade could be composed.
