Kinetic Park, Hammersmith

This project was our competition entry for the Hammersmith Highline, the development of an unused section of railway line. Our entry presented the opportunity to create a Kinetic Park.

"In a city so diverse, we are often divided by colour, postcode and status. Perhaps one thing that blurs these boundaries is play.

Kinetic Park re-imagines the limits of play, aiming to bring people together through a unique experience of interactive play, creating an experience-rich destination in Hammersmith.

Featuring a series of themed parks, the highline takes the visitor on a journey of play from the abstract to the natural, with a treetop boardwalk, trampoline park and pockets of play. Throughout, the equipment generates electricity to power elements of the park, demonstrating the potential of kinetic energy."
