Crimchard Heights, Chard

Crimchard Heights is a 142 unit Barratt David Wilson Homes residential development on the edge of Chard, Somerset. Approved March 2020.

Crimchard Heights will provide much-needed two, three, and four bedroom homes, including a proportion of affordable homes to support the creation of an inclusive community. This design approach focused on the local vernacular and traditional house designs, with the streets designed to limit car speeds and POS to provide soft landscaping in a rural setting.

For this project we provided Urban Design, Architectural and Masterplanning expertise as part of a large team of consultants. The masterplan was evolved and refined through a series of community consultation events and LPA design workshops.
