An environmentally friendly Code 6 house was designed for the replacement of an existing house on a site known as Coombe Lodge.
We undertook a process of refining the brief with the client which resulted in a clear design led strategy harnessing ideas such as simplicity, sustainable construction and locally sourced materials. It is felt that such a strategy would not only deliver a highly efficient home but also enable the building to seamlessly blend into the landscape.
Approval for this project was granted in 2013.
